What are your favorite times of day to meditate and why?

Chris F.
I like to meditate in the morning and at night. It is good to meditate in the morning because it sets me up to have a good day. Meditating at night calms me down to get some great sleep and wake up the next morning feeling refreshed!

I like to meditate in the morning before I get out of bed and in the evening before I go to sleep.

In the morning I like it because it helps me clear my mind and set my intention for the day.

At night I let go of everything from the day and prepare to slip off into blissful sleep.

Very early in the morning. Say probably at 5.45 am. I like it because distractions are less and it helps me set the tone for the rest of the day.

Well, my favorite time to meditate is early in the morning, because automatically your brain is turned on. Also, I have some spare time in the mornings.

I prefer to meditate in the mornings before breakfast and once I'm fully awake. I tried to meditate in bed a few times, but that mostly resulted in me falling asleep. As a result, I now face out the window with the most sun.

Meditating in the morning for me is like a workout for my brain. It gets my focus muscle in shape to get ready to tackle my goals for the day. Mantra and breathing meditations seem to be the most challenging to focus on and deliver the best results for me.

Hope you find your best time to meditate! 🙂

I like to meditate in the evening as a way to unwind at the end of the day before bed. I think I also want to mediate in the morning to start my day.

After exercising/stretching in the morning before my shower. I find this helps me be calm and ready to have a productive day at work. If I find I’m having a stressful day I may have an afternoon meditation session too (like Oprah!)

Evening. Right before bed. Sometimes I fall asleep before my meditation is over. I have suffered from insomnia and meditating has helped me calm my mind so I can sleep.

I like the morning because it still, quiet and uncomplicated. But I choose to meditate throughout the day, whenever I’m losing my mind.

Night-time after a long day. I feel like this is the best time for me, because bedtime is my quiet and peaceful time. I read and relax, and do other semi important self-things at the end of a day. I also would love to nmeditate in the morning or randomly during the day. But I will need to form a habit of that (I convince myself I am too busy or just do not want to)

A favorite time ofday to meditate is before I sleep at night, so I can have a clearer thought and a more restful sleep also.
