Sit down for a moment in the evening, take a deep breath and let all the impressions you had over the day flood your body. Think about every little thing you have done and you are thankful for. Maybe because not everybody could have done that or has the ability to do so. Maybe just because you know these things made your day better than it would have been without these moments. Or maybe just because you love those moments or things.
Think about what others have done for you that day, what you might have been able to do (take a hot shower, buy yourself a book/ a coffee, to just being able to walk), what made you happy (the warming effect the sun had on your face, eating a chocolate bar) and so on. It will get easier as you go and you will appreciate more things everyday because you'll understand that nothing is natural.
