For starters, and later on, when things get too complicated, it’s best to know the fundamentals and have clarity. The best book by far is the 1 Page Marketing Plan by Alan Dibs. It gives you the fundamentals, and a way to create a plan in such a simple way that everyone is on the same page. When you do that, and you need more in depth knowledge on say social media engagement or branding, you can always pick up a specialized book to strengthen your plan.
