Make pictures in your mind if the scene and characters and relationships. Try and relate to a character and experience the adventures their going on but add your self to the story
Usually when i read a book first thing i try to choose a good writers based on readers views then i take the book and start reading of course sometimes i feel bores so i close the book or try to see some events from different pages to get excited
