So I want to be the best I can be but sometimes I don’t have time to do what I need to do to achieve a better me and do all the things I need to do. What should I do?

Armando C.
Sometimes being your best means accepting that you may not be able to do everything. Even though you know you need to do those things to be your best. I believe being the best isn't a matter of what we can or cannot do but a matter of belief, faith and trust. Believe you are, trust in your ability and you will be your best, regardless of whether you have time or not.

I should make more effort and be more mindful of my goals, they aren't holding me back, they're changing my life for the better. I have to realize that

If you don’t have time to do what you need to do, that means you are usually wasting time on optional tasks in the day. Ask yourself, where are you allocating time that does not align with your needs, values, goals? You will find out there are many things you are doing that are not important/impactful longterm. If everything is a need/obligation, then you need to redefine your definition of a need and re-prioritize/set better boundaries. Not everything is an actual need and some things need to be placed to the backburner to make room for better self care. Learn to say no, be more efficient/focused with your time (focused work with timers/set clear and attainable daily goals), and start taking responsibility for the control you have over the outcomes in your life. Be kind to yourself, but don’t play the victim of your own choices. You have more power than you realize. Always remember that.
