They are both a source of exercise

Of course it is!!

Of course! Walking still gets your heart rate up
Garance E.
Absolutely! I think it’s more beneficial to do something for the habit even if it isn’t exactly what you did before. Doing a little helps to reinforce the habit without overwhelming yourself in the moment. You’ll be more likely to continue the habit long term.

Most definitely. Do what you are capable of! I learnt to stop worrying about tiny details so much when trying to make lifestyle changes in the sense of getting the fire started. Consistency is key! As long as you are consistent in what is easy, you will be able to add more or level up in your routine! And at that point if you fall, you won’t fall too far because you have established something for your self as part of your routine and habits! Keep it up!

Yes, getting up and moving is the goal, so whether it’s walking or running is not important. Do what is best for you, but do not push yourself. You can always work up to running if that is your goal.
William X.
Yes , it will still give you the confidence, the feeling after being able to say “I did it”.
Leta W.
I believe so. Sometimes a long walk is better for me, than running.
Jonathan Z.
Sure any excercise is better than none 😁

If we compare walking and running based on how many calories get burned over a time unit, running is defintely more effettive.
But in my opinion you shouldn’t focus on that aspect, I suggest you to focus on what you like the most.
If you di something that you like you will be more prone to keep doing It for a long time and make a habit out of It.
So yes, if you’d rather walk than run walking is the best option for you.

It depends on the effect you are going for. If you want to elevate your pulse it is better to run, if you are going for a meditation and something some smooth on the joints than a long walk is ok.
William C.
Absolutely! Any amount of movement you can get in is in your favor. You don’t have to define how great your workout is by saying you have to run to get the best workout. Just move your body and gradually you’ll be up for a run!
Rasmus P.
Try an interval walk; rotate between slower and faster pace
Lea X.
Yes. Running is not adequete for me as my knee is not in a good shape
Kayla O.
Yes I feel not only walking but power walking is better than running
Dorian P.
Of course. Anything that gets you to enjoy being physically active is the BEST. Enjoying something is one of your best bets for continuing a long-lasting habit.
Rick Y.
Of course it is! Any type of action that gets your heart rate up is perfect to do.

Depends on what works for u as an individual. Be open to the idea of doing both activities
