Is it bad that meditation bores me sometimes?? I just want the end results, the calmness of it all. But sometimes it gets boring any tips to keep going??

I don’t think it’s bad to get bored by meditation. I do like to think of meditation less of a process to obtain something and more of an experience. You want the calmness, but you don’t have to wait until you are done to feel it. I’ve had to switch the way I think about eating similarly. I was sometimes bored by the act as a kid, and then as I got older I became better at savoring each bite of my food instead of only noticing the satisfied feeling when I’m done. When you start meditating, you have already carved out time to be calm. If it’s the silence or not having to prepare for the next thing that you like, with each breath you can notice how it feels and benefit from that. I also don’t think it’s necessary to sit for a very long time to benefit from it. A couple minutes is enough.
