I’ve been very depressed or anxious and not been able to eat regularly. As I got into recovery I gave myself permission to eat whatever I felt like. At that point the fact that I ate was more important than what I ate. These days my eating is much less disordered but I have to make a conscious effort to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. My suggestion would be to see your body as an amazing machine that needs good fuel to run properly so you can do the thing a you want to do. Really think about what would feel good to eat and take gentle steps into this really important part of taking care of your vehicle!!

Im not hungry too..but i still eat anyway. You should start with small portion. For example an apple a day. Its better than nothing

Start small. Eat a tiny bowlful maybe. Then see how your body feels. Congratulate yourself on progress you've made and keep up the habit until you feel like increasing the quantity of food.

Think of providing your body with nutrients. If you don't eat, your body is not getting the nutrients it needs to perform throughout the day and negatively impact you in the long run.

Even morning when i feel sick i try and eat at least something small. If you’re unable to eat anything because you’re not hungry right now, try and take something small on your way to wherever you're going, because you’ll s start feeling this hunger later on.

To me, this is a question of balance between listening to your body and knowing what’s best for it. On the one hand, if you often don’t feel hunger, even when you know you need to eat, then you might want to look into soylent or something like that that makes it easier to force yourself to eat. On the other hand, if you usually are hungry when you need to eat, then listen to your body telling you that it is t hungry yet.
