It depends. If you are new to a workout plan start small like once or twice per week, then as you start to get used to the plan, increase it little by little. It’s best to get exercise every day, but sometimes you have to start small to go big.
I am a runner and mountain biker, I do yoga pretty much every day along with weights and a run. Weekends I go mountain biking. I would recommend doing something medium hard 5-6 days a week with 1 day of rest. However, for me I just do some yoga on the seventh day. That way I get active and don't push myself. Your muscles need time to grow and so we give them " a day of rest" Stay Active!
