How do you stay consistent to daily cleaning when your kid wants to constantly play with you?
Staying consistent with daily cleaning while engaging with your child can be a challenge. Try incorporating cleaning into playtime by turning it into a game. For example, set a timer and see how quickly you can tidy up together. Creating a routine where you clean for a short period followed by playtime can also help. This way, you’re modeling healthy habits while spending quality time with your child, making cleaning a fun and meaningful ritual in your daily life.
I don’t have kids and I’m quite young so I don’t have the same experiences but as someone with ocd who is consistently trying to clean while having people distract me is to incorporate them into your cleaning. Like get your child to help you with daily cleanings, you can make it fun by putting on music or making it a game for points. I’m not too sure your kid’s age so it varies how much they can help but you can give them small tasks if they’re too young to help with harder chores.
