When I wake up in the morning I pretend that I have nothing to me, so for every breath I take, meal I eat and friend I talk to I pretend they are things that are being added to my cart of life..helps me realize just how much I o have

Think back on what you didn’t have a year ago that you possibly have now, look at how far you have come and how hard you fought the battles that you have overcome that no one else knew about. Even if have a bed or don’t be grateful. If you woke up it means that there’s still a plan for your life and that the best is yet to come

Just look around and pay attention to what you do have and focus on getting grateful for that. You’ll get used to it and will notice more and more things to be grateful for, it’ll become easier the bigger you do it

I try to switch my mindset. So instead of looking at something negative, I find a positive about the situation. I also make a conscious effort to try and be grateful throughout the day and be aware of it when I am instead of just letting it be a fleeting thought. And if I forget to do it, I have notifications set up that serve as a reminder throughout the day to find gratitude.

I start with the little things. Fresh clean water, hot showers, a beautiful home, good food to eat, etc. Then I let it grow from there.

I began looking at being grateful like this, my cup is not half empty nor is it half full, it’s simply the fact that I have a cup. And I’ve also adopted the phrase “I get to”.
