After I set my alarm and turn my phone off, I put it somewhere away from my bed – then I’ll have to get up and walk to turn the alarm off. Also, in the moment I wake up I try to stay for just a minute in my bed to let all my thoughts go on and then I get up and think ‘I decided to wake up at this time, so I’ll keep my promise”. And right after I turn off my alarm I open the window (so the sun will light up my room and I’ll feel more awake) and make my bed (so there’s no option to lay down again). It’s pretty helpful for me.

I use a sunrise clock and wake up 2 hours before I need to be at work. It helps me wake up how fast I want and then 1 hour to get ready for work.
