Neck and shoulders pain mostly comes from sitting on a desk or in a wrong posture for long time. Try to move and stretch regularly during your day. Have a yoga session Dailly. Get some massage

Self massage around pressure points helps. So does the cat- cow sequence in yoga, especially if you let your head and neck relax and hang down.

Being an emt, I get pain a lot in my neck, back and shoulders. If you want to try natural remedies, I do either a warm (not scalding hot) bath with Epsom salts for muscle pain and a heating pad afterward. However, if that doesn't work for you, you could try a medication called acetaminophen, aka tylenol. However, don't take more than 6 in 24 hours or take it for long periods of time as it can damage your liver. You could also try various a stretches.
