Commit to giving yourself 10 minutes a day to meditate or journal or both. With meditation you become more mindful of your stress and triggers and a daily practice is really helpful.

I’m a big fan of mindful meditation. It’s helped me to realise that I can’t control everything, amd that’s okay. Also, going on walks with my dog is very therapeutic.

In my personal experience, the best way to decompress has been exercising. In particular, I find yoga the most helpful. And more importantly, I definitely need to nurture my spirit through my weekly visit to church.

I read. Usually manga or any other fictional stories. I find it relieving to read and fantasize about things because by fantasizing, it helps me to at least forget about the stress and my problems for a while.. then i would go to solving my problems once i have freshened up

In my personal experience, stress is always the mask that anxiety wears. Anxiety always stems from doing something you shouldn’t be, or NOT doing something you SHOULD be. And half that battle is naming that demon. When you name the thing that’s bothering you, it loses its power. So if you’re “stressed”, what are you doing that you shouldn’t be, or what are you avoiding that you should be doing ?

If you are in constant Stress on daily basis then start having small destress activities regularly. For example for 2 mins close ur eyes do deep breathing by inhaling via nostrils feeling that you are absorbing all the required oxygen / purity from the universe which is getting into ur entire head, hold the breathe for a second & then exhale from mouth feeling as if all the stress/bad air is getting out from your head.
While doing this imagine the purity/refreshness coming in & impurity / laziness going away.
While doing this imagine the purity/refreshness coming in & impurity / laziness going away.
Do it regularly 3-4 times a day & every time you will feel rejuvenated.
If needed slowly make it to 3-5 minutes.

I have anxiety so every morning before I start my day I choose a guided meditation to follow. Just giving yourself this time before you give yourself to anyone else does wonders on how you approach your day
