I don’t see why it would be bad, as long as it’s in moderation, it gives time to do an action for yourself. Such that it is rewarding, it’s giving yourself a hug in a form of cooking meditation. I don’t cook nor bake, nor do I have wildly unhealthy breakfasts or no breakfasts at all, so for me having home-made waffles would mean I made them myself, as an act of compassion and self love. And that idea honestly feels lovely. Even if it’s done b family or friend, waffles carry the feelings of love. It’s not a random breakfast option you just whip out every other day. It takes considerations and mental effort. And that’s beautiful if put into a pleasurable thing
