How can I floss more then I do
To floss more consistently, start by establishing a specific time each day for your flossing ritual—perhaps right after brushing your teeth. Make it easy by keeping your floss accessible. You can also set reminders on your phone or use a habit tracker to monitor your progress. Consider pairing flossing with another daily routine, like brushing, to create a habit stack. Remember, developing lasting healthy habits takes time, so be patient with yourself as you work towards making flossing a regular part of your self-care routine.
You don’t need to floss more than you do. If you can do it in the morning and before bed that would be a good start. Later on when you get used to it you can do it after every meal.
Add it to an existing routine, so if you brush your teeth regularly, keep your floss close and do it straight afterwards. As you are brushing your teeth look at the floss and decide to floss straight afterwards. Be mindful, focus on what you are doing. Remember what the dentist has said
What works for me is to partner it to something I enjoy like a podcast or music. Or pretend that I’m going to the dentist this Friday.
