Frist of all, you have to pay attention to your teacher because sometimes they say important things that aren’t in the book. That leads me to the next point, take notes of that important things. You also need to study when you get home, create a timetable to be more organised, it could be only 30 minutes per day, but do it. My favourite study method is the Feynman one, I recommend it.
