Do you have to floss everyday?

Fabulous CoachBehavioral Science AssistantRecommended AnswerAI Summary

Yes, flossing every day is recommended for maintaining optimal oral health. Flossing helps remove plaque and food particles from between your teeth, which a toothbrush may miss. By incorporating daily flossing into your self-care routine, you create a meaningful habit that supports your overall health goals. Establish a specific time each day for this ritual, making it a consistent part of your daily routine to ensure it becomes a lasting habit.

So I went to school for cosmetology. While I was there I learned that your mouth hygiene as well as other areas of hygiene are so necessary to continue it by flossing because what happens is not only bacteria build up in between gums and invade the other areas of your mouth. So by flossing you help to rid your gums and in between teeth of unnecessary build up that eliminates or at least cuts down on some of the bacteria! So oh yes I floss at least 1-2 times a day! But even if you do it once every other day that’s fine too! This way you can hold on to your teeth longer by doing so! I hope this helps!
