Do you have the same "great breakfast" every day or do you try different recipes?
It’s beneficial to have a consistent 'great breakfast' as it helps establish a healthy routine. However, experimenting with different recipes can keep your meals exciting and prevent monotony. Consider rotating between a few favorite recipes while also trying new ones occasionally. This approach can enhance your breakfast experience and contribute to lasting healthy habits. Remember, the key is to find balance and enjoyment in your morning rituals to set a positive tone for the day.
During the week, I’m short on time, that’s why I usually have the same breakfast everyday. I know it is nutritious and I enjoy eating it. On the weekends, I like to try new things when I have time to cook and enjoy the meal.
It varies for me personally depending upon what I have on hand and my mood. Most days I do oatmeal with yogurt, a piece of fruit, and a protein shake. But sometimes I will sub the oatmeal for cream of wheat or utilize leftover proteins like fajita chicken with bell peppers and onions and throw them in a burrito with some eggs. But in a household with 5 kids and 3 adults it’s more about what I have. But i also force myself to eat larger meals as I’m trying to gain weight.
Same ;-) It’s convenient and I don’t have to spend time thinking what to eat everyday. The best part is that it’s a nutritious meal!
I try to do different breakfasts everyday! Cutting out sugar is the best thing to do as well, so cereal is a no! Always have protein and carbs! So yes, changing it up is exciting and fun.
