I personally just put some light music on. Apple Music has a great meditation playlist. Although, if you are a beginner I would certainly suggest a guided meditation to help understand how to breath and how to sit and soo forth.
i meditate in silence and come in tune with my thoughts and feelings. I feel that meditating in my own silence gives me a more natural meditation state and brings me peace quicker than following guided meditations.
I’ve tried both but I recently just discovered that the best meditation for me is to meditate on the holy bible. I listen to it and I meditate as I’m listening. I love it ❤️
