I believe that all things are fine in moderation, including moderation. No one's telling you to go "cold turkey", but too much caffeine can definitely be worse for your overall health. Like any drug, it's an addiction, and it requires the same level of resilience and commitment to lessen, or stop, the habit. I'd say to begin by taking small steps. If you're at 10 cups per day, start by cutting one cup every week for the next several weeks until you hit a more manageable coffee quota (say, three cups per day?). Slow and steady wins the race.
