Can you work out every day or does resting in between have better results?

Better results for what? If you mean better results in muscle gain, I don’t know, I’m not a biologist. As for working out to keep/become fit, that’s about building habits. Maybe more weekly habits than daily habits, but I see no reason why they shouldn’t be daily.

That depends on what kind of workouts you’re doing. If you’re doing intense full body workouts you should have at least 3 rest days a week.
