I don’t listen to music while I work but if I were to, I would put on music without lyrics. Only because I would start singing along if it were music I really get into and enjoyed on a different level. My go-to for that sort of thing is Ludovico Einaudi. I use a place I can write at comfortably and use a notebook where I collect all my work. During the day, if I see anything that could help me during my deep work or would inspire me, I take a picture of it and put it in a folder to refer back to during my next session.

I use the focus playlists from Spotify. My best tip is to really, really block all distractions. And then make sure you have a goal and know why you do what you do.
