I think the answer is yes, because for the first, there’s honesty in facing what we’ve done (we’ve all made big mistakes somewhere along the way, I guess); then the bad things that have happened to us – again, food for reflection and growth, and deciding to remain positive and hopeful despite the difficulties. I’m facing housing insecurity, and I’m trying to just take it in my stride….

It really depends. You can be grateful for how you have changed because of that, or that you’re no longer experiencing it anymore. Sometimes there are things you can’t be grateful for though, but many things have something you can be grateful for even if its not the thing itself

Sometimes even bad things could lead to consequences you’re glad that happened, so yes, you can be grateful for such things too.
