I find that it can be a struggle to get myself to commit to just 7mins. But then I remind myself that it’s more about moving and stretching even on your off days than burning calories. Yes I want to workout to burn the excess but sometimes just showing up is the biggest challenge. On those days I do a Yon yoga or mobility stretching workout that I historically would not really have even considered a workout. Plus if you do it first thing in the morning you can just wear your workout clothes to bed, or put them on before you even consider your fit for the day.

It seems to me that you’re someone who procrastinates a lot (the gym is option 1 when there are more important tasks to get done😉) which is a problem we all deal with on a daily basis.
Exercise can be done at home! I used to go to the gym but since my mind always tells me it is too much to get dressed and go to the gym and then come home and take a shower and all of that, so instead of trying to force change, I just pick tiny changes to ease my mind into realizing it is not as scary as it seems! You literally have to treat your mind like a little baby! You don’t wanna exercise at the gym? Fine! Let’s do it at home! Light pushups, light stretching, all of that can teach your brain that tiny steps lead to bigger steps and that it is not at all scary and that you’ll be just fine, maybe even feel better about yourself when you manage to check that box on your to-do list!
Good luck with that! Sending all the love and support there is ❤️

Consider the Good – Better – Best framework to counteract ‘all or nothing thinking’, and do something.
Good: a couple squats, pushups, sit-ups, or something (make it so small you can’t say ‘no’ to it)
Better: a Fabulous workout (like the 7-min one you referenced), or from another app like Fitbit, a workout video, etc. – whatever works for you
Best: a full intense workout at the gym, going for a run, playing a sport, etc.
That way, you do something each time, even if it isn’t the ‘best’ thing you could be doing. The best workout is whichever one you actually DO that day 😉
Hope this helps! 🫶
