I use the app insight timer. They have a widget you can add to your Home Screen. Also starting small. I am sticking to just 5 minutes.

I set a reminder to do so. I also practice breathing prior. I only aim for 3 minutes at a time. It makes it easy to commit to. I will do longer meditations as well, but it is not as consistent as my daily 3 minutes usually in the morning. If I forget, I will just do it later in the day.
