How does everyone else practice being grateful? I feel like it’s so difficult for me up consciously remember to look for it. I know it will be like that until my mindset fully changes, and then it will become more natural.

I think there are always things to be grateful for. When I think back on my day and can’t find gratitude, then I’m grateful that I woke up this morning. I think if you can just start with being grateful for that you’ll find gratitude in other things too.

I like to just list 3 things I’m grateful for, and sometimes it’s something as simple as the warmth of my bed, or a roof over my head. It doesn’t need to be grandiose, just real!

Think of it as working out. Like it is a muscle in your brain. It needs training overtime. For example, you can start a gratitude journal, and write down at least 3 things you’re grateful for. You do this every day, you’re already training yourself to do it. In half a year you’ll probably do it automatically

All I do is the first thing when my eyes open up in the morning is say one thing I was grateful for from the day before and then I can look forward to many more grateful moments in my days to come.
