I have a goal for my workouts. I know that I have to be physically and mentally fit not just for my health, but sports as well. Why is it that important? I am an exceptional player but the only thing standing in front of me and my success is being unfit. Easily getting tired on court and not being able to last 4 quarters. So working out helps me navigate towards that goal. I tell myself that I can do this and I can get fit. I’ll benefit multiple ways from it

I make it fun. There’s no shame, there’s no punishment, it’s genuinely just fun. I always wanted to be strong, now I can go to the gym and just see how strong I am. I have a “routine” but always keep the exercises cycling to keep it from being boring, bringing variety.
Take care of your body. Empathize with it, and build it up. You’re alive. All you need is love.
