As a person who struggles with ADHD, meditation has always been so hard for me. I find that using noise canceling headphone helps me so much when meditating. If I’m not using noise cancelling headphones, I put the fan on to help filter out the other noise. I’ve also learned that active meditation is huge within my day to day. Simply putting on a meditation and doing it while completing basic tasks works for some people, since they can focus on what they are doing as the meditation. Meditation is different for everyone, and sometimes allowing those thoughts to come in and acknowledging that your mind is a little bit cluttered is an act of meditation itself!

It used to happen to me a lot but after sometime,i found out that using some noise cancellation headphones and focusing on the breath&our body(the fabric, the contact points and the feeling of air in our nasal passage) helps focusing and removal of distractions but all of this is just personal experience and opinion

The best way To block out distractions, when meditating for me is when I focus on the voice of the person guiding the meditation or if I focus on my breath.
