What kinda homemade breakfast is best for a vegetarian?

in my opinion an avocado toast is one of the best options! it’s quick, easy, tasty and nutritious! i usually use a sour bread/any bread other than white bread, slice my avocado in thin pieces and put in on the toasted bread. and then i season it w salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, olive oil and lemon juice!

My girlfriend likes to make breakfast for dinner he both of us. She uses a bit of rice milk, slowly warms it up on the stove, and then adds oatmeal, cocoa, crushed linseed and a mashed yo banana or two. Then she pours that into a bowl and on top she putts cashews, peanuts and a little bit of peanut butter. With all of this we drink Turkish coffe with rice milk (its sweet so you dont need to add sugar)
Sounds great, right? 🙂

Try banana pancakes! If you want something more hearty, you could try veggie breakfast burritos? Or veggie filled omelettes

Steel cut oats are super healthy and easy. I make a big plain batch at the start of the week and then put them in preportioned containers. When I get out a portion I add whatever mix-ins and toppings I want. Some ideas for toppings and mix-ins are mashed sweet potato or mashed ripe banana (makes it creamy!), nuts, pea-based protein powders, dried fruits, berries, nut butter, cinnamon, shredded carrots or zuchinni, chia or flax seeds, candied ginger, vanilla extract, jam, dark chocolate chips. Some people even like savory oatmeal. Possibilities are endless!

I eat oatmeal every morning! It’s easy to prepare and you can mix it up with great toppings. I make a homemade cereal mix to sprinkle over my oats to give it’s some crunch – any combination of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flaxseeds, psyllium husk powder, protein powder etc. I also top it with

I personally like oatmeal with apple and peanut butter mixed in. I also make it with pea protein milk to make it extra filling.

I am not a nutritionist, but i am in love with food. Seek for quality food. The best taste is in simplicity.

Since you are a vegetarian, a breakfast that would keep you full and give you enough energy would be something like muesli (you can add nuts or honey) or hummus / falafel.
Generally i love the arabic type of breakfast (was eating it daily when i was in Jordan) which is rich, tasty and can hold you full with energy.

If you prefer something light, and maybe sweet, then you could try greek yogurt with dried fruits and nuts, or even though all time classic energy meal, yogurt nuts and honey.

Last, but not least. I would recommend a very simple but delicious combination that a shepherd in Georgia once served me.
Heavy cream with honey. Its not a breakfast. Its an experience.

Closing, remember to eat clean food. What i mean is to avoid the trends which are products of marketing. Your body needs to know what it takes and the more complex food you add, the harder will be to digest and absorb the needed nutrients.
Avoid ingredients that you would not find naturally (coconut sugar is marketed as a healthy vegan sweetener, but its not a natural product. VEGAN beef burger seems nice but no one mentioned that its healthy).

Do your research. Plan ahead. Respect your food, whether its a lamb or a tomato.
Enjoy life even with regrets.

There are plenty of vegetarian options around these days, so it all depends on what works best for you. You could have something small like a banana with some peanut butter, or you can have something on-the-go like a smoothie, or you could make something a little heftier like a granola bake. The important thing is to go for healthier, more well-balanced options so that you can kick-start your day.

You can't go wrong with a good avocado smash with feta and drizzled with balsamic glaze. Got to use a good bread. Crusty multi grain bread or dense sour dough.

I'm vegan. Have been for almost 10 years. And I have PCOS, which means that I have to make sure I am eating as healthy as possible. For breakfast I love to have avocado toast on homemade sourdough bread, with tomatoes, and arugula, and sprouts! Or even a big bowl of kale with a bunch of nutritional yeast and a splash of liquid aminos, with a side of lightly sautéed tempe. And if you have trouble spending the time to cook in the morning, prepping the night before is essential! A great meal to prep the night before is overnight oats. Look into it, there's a million variations and I'm sure a couple of them will suit your tastes. Goodluck 🙂

I think oatmeal is good if you add honey and other fruits to it. You can also try some soaked chickpeas or nuts with a warm glass of milk. Omelet with a bread is also a good option.

Fruit smoothies or sandwiches. You may use vegan cheese and veggies for the perfect sandwich. Oatmeal is also a great option.
