After intensive exercises I usually just take a quick shower. If it's in the morning, I take cool shower (it wakes me up even more) and if it's evening – warm, so my muscles relax and my body feel ready to sleep. Also you can try some breathing exercises, which helps with relaxing the muscles as well.
Those are great strategies! I recommend stretching before and after too. Maybe use a foam roller or even take an epsom salt bath once a week to relax everything
The best recovery after my exercises for me is stretching and a nice cold shower. It helps me to remove the sweats from the workout. It is also relaxing and refreshing.
