Reducing the number of items in them is my main way to organize messy closets. Being truthful which clothes I like to wear and actually wear and putting the rest somewhere else helped a lot.

Well all you have to do is put the dirty clothes in the drawer, take the clean clothes and organize them and put them un their place.
It may sound probably boring but, trust me that if you do that at least you are keeping a clean ambient where you sleep well, eat healthy and stay positive. You can do this just look how far you've come.
