What are the benefits of drinking green tea?

One benefit of drinking green tea is that it helps with digestion. I drink one cup caffeinated in the morning before I eat breakfast. & another cup decaffeinated after lunch. Another benefit is simply just enjoying something I love. A hot cup of tea. It's one of my tools for comfort.
