Try to be active as possible during the day. I had difficulty to sleep if nothing has done. Excercise, take long walks, chores and so on that challenges you. You feel satisfied which makes your body and mind peaceful that the day is nicely accomplished.
If your body needs rest, go for a quick nap and if your mind needs rest, try meditation or watch something soothing on YouTube. I personally prefer to watch Rick Steve's travel series.
Relax, and don't think about what makes you feel uncomfortable. Do the things that you like while resting like, reading, watching tv, or even sleep.
