The best way to make notes on the book you read

I don’t really take notes I just remember what I read. If I have to for an English assignment, I usually mark it w a sticky note and state why I marked it on the sticky note.

Highlights, underlines and notations. Nothing else worked for me.
I tried using a notebook but it was rarely close by when I was reading. It was also taking me too long to write down notes, sometimes because I liked an entire paragraph, sometimes because I wanted the handwriting to be perfectly clean.
I even used post-its but they kept being lost.
So I decided to just underline and add annotations directly. I can collect those parts any time later.
If the book is borrowed, I use my phone since it's normally right beside me.

To be honest, I'm still working on it. I tried to just only tale the IMPORTANT PARTS of the book. I always feel that everything is important so now I'm trying to do it as short as possible but still contains lots of information. You can also try to watch YT too.
Good Luck🍀

I always take note in my planner. The one I use is called the Full Focus Planner. It helps me plan my days, weeks and each quarter to focus on my goals. Taking notes in there gives me a chance to review and refer to them later.
