I think so. If you're low on carbs and need quick energy, cereal is a good way to get some energy in you. But I think cereal is best eaten as a side or a component of breakfast, not the only dish at breakfast. Cereal and a smoothie can help you get carbs AND antioxidants, vitamins, etc. Or cereal and some eggs can help you get carbs and protein. I guess it depends on your nutritional needs!
