I’d love to know what sort of exercises people do in the morning that are sustainable on a long-term basis without feeling like a chore.

I think the best thing is to go out to run while you're listening to your favorite broadcast or music it's going to make you amused especially when you have a company , good luck .

Everybody have some exercises that suit his self and me I have a lot of different exercises that I do depending on my mood. But the most important exercises that I do are yoga or stretching or either running.

MHMM wow this is tough because for me i find joy in completing my exercises 🙂 However, in reply to your question, maybe you should try working out with someone (maybe your friends) so you probanly will not dread it as much. You could try planks:)

The kind of exercise I do in the morning that I feel like are sustainable on a long-term basis without feeling like a chore to me is, making my bed. Because I know that if I come home from having a stressful day then I would always know that at lest I am able to come home to a made bed.

I drink water first thing & skip rope for about 30 minutes & if you have a little one your daily your exercise continue there . If not jumping rope keep your heart rate going and great full body workout . Your long-term goal is something you will get to by completing all of your short-term goals. If you run a bit further every week, or add an extra workout session each week, you will obviously up your calorie burn and make it to your goals, over time.

Yoga counts as exercise and can factor into your morning stretch, plus you can do it from your bed if you're feeling super lazy

I go for a walk with my dog, or I do some situps in my bedroom. Or sometimes I make a healthy smoothie and do some yoga, maybe at first you will not be used to it but if you keep doing them in the morning you will get used to it.

For me I like to think that if I don’t eat breakfast, I will be hungry later on in the day which will throw off my focus while being in school. If I don’t eat breakfast, I will be grumpy throughout the day.

I feel like just writing a single line that acknowledges how you feel after you have your cup of water, and a single thing you would like to have / experience today to make it a beautiful day is worth considering in the long run. For example writing « I feel a bit exhausted because of a short night. I will be going to bed a bit sooner to see if that helps. » and « Today, I really look forward to spending some time outside with the kids » or « Today, I’m excited to finish this task at work. »

It’s a really simple message to yourself so you have a positive influence over how your day will go, how to better yourself and find the one thing that will bring you joy.

This takes 5 seconds to do and can be scribbled anywhere and you can throw it once written, or keep it for the evening so you can cross off the joyous event of your day.

I like to dance in the morning while I change my clothes and clean. On a good day if I’m feeling motivated, I’ll use the treadmill.

yoga is good or low intensity high rep exercises such as squats bicep curls or sit ups with a small weight repeating maybe 4 sets of 10

I'd prefer an exercise that I can ease into, rather than one that will put me off for the next few days due to muscle aches from a prolonged period of sedentary living.

For example going for a walk. Its really relaxing and healthy at the same time and people come to love it and even extend its duration. Also doing 5 abdominal crunches every morning is not hard and is really good for you to make a sticky habit. Cardio exercises are also more efficient in the morning than in the evening. Aerobics and dancing are also a great thing to do to stay energized and happy the whole day while training at the same time.

It’s not really a type of exercise for me. I love to turn my favorite music up and that just makes me have fun. The time at the gym flows by! I also like to dance, which still counts as exercising, making it fun, there’s music, and I feel great at the end. I also use an app called Peloton, which has strength, meditation, yoga, cardio, and more! Be sure to check it out!

I think the easiest and quickest way to exercise without feeling like it's a chore in the morning is to dance. Throw some music on and keep your body moving:). It's a fun way to bring your heartbeat up, and allow you to move your body around. Another exercise you can do is once every 1-2 hours, do a set number of pushups, this way it's spread throughout the day, and you still get your exercise in. I hope this helps :).

Jogging help me to control my breath and it’s pretty relaxing. You can do it while listening to your favorites song. Good luck to you;)

I think stretching is the best option because it feels refreshing and awakens your body and it won't feel like a chore because it's natural that we stretch as soon as we wake up 🙂

I do my physio exercises in the morning. I used to leave them until the evening but found I would be less likely to complete them then. Doing them in the morning seems to be more motivating!

I think yoga because it is relaxing and it helps a person mentally, physically and emotionally! Also this is a fantastic app 👏 💝
