I tend to get so many distractions just as I am about to start my deep work. How do I be more focused and reduce distractions that either slow down my work

First, choose a calm and quiet place to work in. Use the 25 min Deep Work timer that this app has. Turn off your notifications. Use headphones (it's best if they are noise-cancelling). And ask people around you to leave you unbothered unless it's absolutely necessary. Reward yourself for successfully completing a session without getting distracted.
