I don’t watch tv to fall asleep but I do watch it before bed just because I enjoy it in general. Sometimes i’ll play I game on my phone before bed. How do I ease myself out of these habits without taking away something I enjoy?

Why take it away? Just enjoy it in advance till about half an hour before sleep. Then switch it to book for example. It does not need to be something complex, it can be related to something that you watch on TV.
