I don’t usually feel like eating in the morning. Is intermittent fasting unhealthy?

I don’t think so. In general it’s best to eat some protein on the earlier side to help get your metabolism going and hold off hunger until lunch. But seems like it wouldn’t be good to force it if you aren’t feeling hungry. What does your morning routine look like? What is the first food you eat and when? Have you ever tried eating some breakfast earlier, and if so, how do you feel after? Just some thoughts to ponder :) Have a great day!

Yes is can be unhealthy but also remember that you don’t have to eat much you can even just eat some nuts and your good to go.

I don’t think it’s unhealthy if you are actually doing it. If you skip breakfast then binge later the fasting is pointless. Your supposed to try to reduce calories.

Intermittent fasting is actually very healthy. If you don’t feel like eating in the morning don’t do it. You don’t have to take the 3 meals a day rule so seriously if you don’t feel like it.

Nope, it’s not unhealthy! It’s better to listen to your body’s hunger cues. Eating when you are not hungry will just lead to overeating. However, you might want to try drinking water in the morning to see if that gets your digestive system running and ready to eat. Whether you eat breakfast or not, just make sure that the first thing you eat is a balanced healthy meal so that your eating patterns start off on the right foot for the day!

Intermittent fasting improves various metabolic features known to be important for brain health. This includes reduced oxidative stress, reduced inflammation and a reduction in blood sugar levels and insulin resistance. So yes, it’s healthy if done right.

I don’t know a lot about intermittent fasting, but I do know the benefits of eating in the morning. You have more energy to go throughout your day when you drink water and eat a balanced breakfast. You’re motivated to do more and be more. I hope this helps!

Intermittent fasting is not unhealthy. It allows your body to use the extra energy stores. It is helpful for loosing weight. The body tries to work smarter not harder. If you are constantly supplying your body with easily digestible energy it will never use you reserves (fat). It can be problematic for those with eating disorders. It can be used as a stepping stone to fall back into anorexic tendencies. The simplest answer is to eat only when hungry and stop when you are full. Simple does not mean easy but if you are not hungry in the morning wait to eat.

I personally cannot answer that question. You need to speak with your physician about that. It works for me and I am closely in touch with health care to monitor.
