I am from India, want to prepare a good salad in less time. What veggies do you add ?

Sarah E.
Lettuce, or any green leaf veg, I usually do a mix, tomatoes, raw bel pepper, cucumber, maybe some corn, or olives, and a protein that could be tofu, or beans or chickpeas
In the end salads are so great because you can really add anything you want, like and have. And my favorite dressing is just olive oil and vinegar.

Hey there,
I normally use these ingredients:
Cucumber 🥒 lettuce 🥬 tomatoes 🍅 Pepper and sometimes parsley if needed but I would strongly suggest that you put sauce in it!! 🥗 Any sauce you like and like it’s taste.
The sauce is the most important part of making a salad because without I wouldn’t wanna eat salad everyday.
If you get my message please respond!!!

I usually make my salads with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, maybe some apples and sprinkle some walnuts on top!

Me & my fam aren't vegetarians. We eat 1-3 fruits without mayonaise everyday. We eat veggies + tempe/tahu when we make it into the Indonesian foods. This is the Indonesian way to balance nutrition.

I do not know what foods they have in india, but for me a fresh, simple, salad is usually spinach, Cheryl tomatoes, and some dried cranberries. Just toss them together and you have a fresh spring dish!

Sometimes just the right combination or a few vegetables and a fresh cheese is the best. I love a simple Mediterranean salad of cucumber, tomatoes, olives and feta cheese with just a little bit of olive oil, salt and pepper. Yummy!

Defrosting frozen strawberries, nuts like sunflower seeds or pecans, maybe prep chopping carrots or onions, canned beans or dried cranberries.

Leafy greens (I use baby spinach), carrots, olives, cucumber, onion, and I also use quinoa, dried cranberries, feta cheese, and sunflower seeds. Hope this is helpful!

Mixed greens, tomatoes, and avocado when I'm doing something quick! It helps if you prep by cutting up your veggies the night before. So if you're a fan of carrots or cucumbers or peppers in your salad, I would suggest cutting up a bunch of them to use through out the week!

One of the fastest salads is a salad with tomatoes and cucumbers. You also need to add herbs, onions, olive oil, salt and other spices to taste.

Baby Spinach is a good salad base the stems are tender and it’s just so good!
Cherry tomato’s are also a very good and quick filler for salad!! What is your favorite fast breakfast? – Maddie

Broccoli florets are good. Cauliflower and sliced cucumber and sliced mushrooms. Green scallions are quick to snip with scissors.

I would suggest using lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, onions and feta cheese with french vinegar. If you would like you can also add nuts!

I’m Italian. For my salad I usually use: lettuce, carrots, mais, tuna fish and spicy chicken. Not about salad but I love eating Indian 💕

Simple, well dressed salads are the best. Try mixed salad greens in a bowl, add sliced avocado, an easy to pan sautee vegetable (5 min), and oil, salt, dash of lemon juice, and top with some seeds or nuts (pine nuts, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, or chopped pistachio, almond, or walnuts, etc) and you’re ready to go in just a few minutes.

You can leave the sautéed vegetable out if you’re right on time, but if you have the 5 minutes it’s easy to sautee green bean, asparagus, even broccoli or cauliflower if you cut the pieces up small enough.

What flavours do you enjoy best? I'm from the U.S. and Caribbean. For my favourite salad I use lettuce as a base (iceberg, romaine, or arugula are popular), sliced red onions, crumbled feta cheese, sliced tomatoes, sliced avocado, and kalamata olives. For a dressing, I enjoy olive oil, salt, and pepper. For protein, you can add hard boiled eggs or diced baked chicken. I hope this gives you some ideas 🙂

I personally use the veggies that I like but don't have to cook, unless you want to cook your veggies than you can. I always use a leaf based veggies first and then I add in whatever other veggies I like such as:carrots, cucumber, mushrooms, avacado, peppers. Not only do I use the veggies that are accessible to me I also use the veggies that are available in my local supermarket and also what I have at home. I live somewhere different to you so you use the veggies you like and that accessible to you where you live! I sometimes have rice and soya sauce with my salad, couscous and a little bit of olive oil with my saldad or I have pasta or some chicken. But it's your salad so you do what you want with it and put whatever you want in it! I really hope this helped and I hope you enjoy your salad

Hi, here is the one that I love the most.
-Cherry tomatoes
-Chopped carrots
-lettuce
-chili green pepper
-a bit of green onion
-cumin + salt + olive oil

lettuce as a good base, so it makes you more full because it has more volume. Tomato is always a must because I always have some at home. Then you can add whatever you have at home, more fresh veggies or even canned corn or peas. Last but not least, add some protein (I usually put an egg in the microwave or boil it), some carbs (potato) and healthy fats (avocado, tahini or nuts). I finally add any seeds I have for extra fibre

I put the following ingredients in my salad: cherry tomatoes, dried onion, cucumber, green pepper, white wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, olives, capers, feta cheese, oregano, lettuce, nuts.

Hey! I'm from Latvia and we love to eat one really simple salad – take tomato, cucumber, some olive oil and salt/pepper as much as you like. Slice the veggies and pour oil and spices – mix it up and you are done!
