Honestly, focusing is really hard for me. It helps me to play music, work in a clean and organized space, and to limit distractions. I work at my desk and leave my phone across the room. I also use the deep focus tool in the app. My favorite is the productivity beep one, because it reminds me to refocus. Drinking water also helps me.
