There are so many workouts to choose from out there, from Pilates to boxing to swimming. Finding a workout routine that you dread the least can be so liberating! Of course, you can start with local gyms but you can use resources like the community centre (often have pools, weight rooms and basketball arenas) or YouTube, which has so many great videos for at home training. Finding an exercise buddy who will keep you motivated can also ensure that you stick to a routine, at least in the beginning because it’s the easiest to quit during the first few months. Lastly, something is better than nothing. If you want to start off your exercise journey with just 20 minutes of walking per week, that’s still beneficial for you!
