It’s best for one to sit comfortably. Keep your back straight, but also relaxed. Keep in mind that you want your body to feel as relaxed as laying in bed. Rest your hands where they fall, and let your mind focus on your breathing. You’ll soon find yourself in a sort of trance as you feel your breath move through your body. Soon enough you will begin to feel conscious of your body.

There is really no such thing as good or bad meditation, the most important thing is that you are able to start. Some key points to note though includes, looking for a quiet and comfort place where you feel secured, finding a comfortable position either sitting or laying down, then identifying the sounds that calms your mind and have it play in the background and lastly don't forget to breathe.
