I’m new to mediation so I’m trying it out for 5 minutes at a time. I’m trying to do it when I stretch in the morning before I start to get dressed so that I’m not too distracted with the day. But I’m learning the process so we will see where it goes!

the ideal time depends on the person. for a beginner perhaps 5-15 minutes, then you can move on to 30 minutes once you’ve gotten the gang of it – and then you can meditation for however long you like. but if you have other things to do I would say maximum would be around and hour or so.

I think any time is good enough. I mean just making some time for yourself during a busy day is already great, you can stop for a while and focus on your breathing and positive thoughts to get you through your day even better. In the beginning maybe you'll only tolerate up to 5 minutes, but day by day, realizing how good it makes you feel and how much good energy you can benefit from that, you will just want to add as more minutes as you can. 🙂

Meditation is just to give your mind and body a point in the day to relax. It can be anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour. I would say personally, that one should meditate at least for 30 minutes if not more. It all depends on your mood, attitude, and the time you're willing to put into it.

An ideal amount of time is the amount time that helps you achieve your meditation goals. If you are meditating to feel less anxious or less stressed meditate until this happens. I recommend meditating for at least 10 minutes to give your body the break it needs from the world to rest and re- energize
