Has anyone else found their skin has improved once they gave up skin care? I’ve just been washing my face with handsoap and using sunscreen and now its loads better

It’s interesting to hear about your experience with simplifying your skincare routine! Sometimes, less is more, and focusing on basic hygiene and sun protection can lead to improvements in skin health. It’s essential to listen to your body and find what works best for you. Establishing a consistent grooming routine that prioritizes your skin’s needs can contribute to overall well-being. Remember, everyone’s skin is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. Keep experimenting mindfully!

I never use anything, just water, soap- if really necessary when my skin is dry- i use some neatral cream or oil- never anything fanzy compared to «skincareproducts», facemasks or snailslime ;) My father teached me at a young age to minimize these things, and to not be tempted to belive in the mass-sugessive makeup industry. I’m 46 years old, never ever used depdorant, and never had a sweaty smell. Still, i have some light makeup and lipstick for special occations ;) to get a bit of extra when i need to shine- instead of wearing it all the time.
