Yes indeed; I’m usually stuck in the past or worried about the future. I really need to focus to be able to concentrate on present and the power of it!
Good question, the moment that you realize your mind has wandered, is the moment of consciousness – only then can you return to your point of focus, be it the breath, a sound, a space inside you… The key is not to get stressed when your mind wanders because noticing it is the whole point of meditation. What you do next, where you lean your thoughts, is an active choice 🙂 this is how you overcome anxiety and stress in daily life, by noticing then redirecting your thoughts. Hope that helps 😀
