Anyone have a good smoothie recipe that doesn’t involve berries or mango?

Go bananas! Bananas are full of energy and fiber and are rich in minerals. They also help digestion end ensure a good bowel movement every day.

I personally like a slightly more earthy tasting smoothie when I don’t use berries:
1 frozen banana, 1 avocado, a handful of either spinach, kale or arugula (depending on preference) 2 tblsp Flaxseed, 2 tblsp almond butter, 2 tblsp coco powder (unsweetened) and 1/3 cup almond milk or coconut Milk. (Or more depending how thin you like your smoothies)

Sure I do. Vanilla almond milk, any lowfat chocolate Oreo like cookie you want, ice and protein powder of your choosing. Blend and enjoy

I also like using coconut milk ice and orange and protein powder. It tastes like a creamsicle

How about pineapple and banana? You can add some spinach leaves and flax seeds. Use coconut milk for your liquid and this will be a nice tropical smoothie.

I usually buy the bulk package of vanilla, greek yogurts at Sam's club and freeze them, I stock up in bananas as well, peel them put them in a ziplock bag and freeze them, when the time comes I just use that as the base, and I add almond milk and ccocoa powder, or orange juice, or almond milk and cherries, almond milk and peaches, the fruit can also be bought frozen

One of my favorites is the coffee date smoothie..but that’s only if you drink coffee.. it involves dates for sweetening, milk, yogurt and about half a tea spoon (or as much as you need) of coffee. It’s quick to make, gives you the nutritions from date and the much needed coffee boost !

There are several options, but depends on your diet and preferences. If you have an iPhone, you can download free smoothie app from Filibaba, they have some really good recipes.
In case you don't, here are two.
~ Ginger, honey and lemon:
> 200 ml yogurt of choice (greek style works best but I'm guessing you can also go with plant substitute)
> 2 tsp grated ginger
> 1 tbsp honey
> 2 tsp lemon juice
> 3 ice cubes

Just blend all together.

~ Apple cinnamon
> 2 organic apples
> juice from 2 oranges
> 1 tsp grated ginger
> 1/2 tsp cinnamon
> 150 ml water
> 3 ice cubes

Blend all together. You can also throw in some spinach or other leafy greens into this combo.

And here is one if you want to go with more protein.

~ Protein recovery
> 100 g vanilla protein powder (or any other really)
> 50 ml milk of choice (plant based or regular)
> 150 ml water
> 1/2 banana

Blend all together. You can also make your own recipe, use more milk instead of water, add whole banana etc.

I hope this will help 🙂

They have more recipes with ingredients such as peaches, figs, pineapple, kiwi, greens… Depends on what you like and what you can get.

I personally love banana in any smoothie because they taste more like and Orange Julius that way. Also pineapple is a good fruit that tastes good with banana. And if you toss in some oranges and a fresh fruit just you’ve got a tasty smoothie.

I'm not sure but you could use banana and some greens to make a green smoothie. You could even add some frozen pineapple to make it a bit more sweet.
