Is walking around the store exercise?

Leo F.
I believe this depends on the level of activity you are used to. If you in general would not spend your time walking around and that this is a notable increase in activity, especially if you in general get food delivered, then yes this can absolutely count as exercise. If you otherwise would be walking this quantity per day, then I would not consider it to be exercise. Doing exercise comes in small steps, this is coming from someone who has a strong sports background as well as a sedentary background. Accepting and celebrating acts such as walking around in a grocery store may be a good step in the right direction if you would otherwise not be so active.
