I find thinking about why you have to get up to be important. If it feels unimportant to you and your goals, then getting up in the morning becomes pointless. After reminding yourself everyday it will become a habit. I hope this helps. Good luck with your journey.

Instead of hitting the snooze button, I try to put the alarm on the other side of the room on the furthest point so then I have to get out of bed and physically go and walk over there to turn it off and then by the time you’re back in bed you’re awake

try putting your phone or alarm out of arms reach, where you have to get up to turn it off. id say also set your alarms earlier is you tend to snooze it a few times, so then by the time you get up, itll be on time+ if that makes sense! :]

Well, I really do enjoy my classes so when I wake up I remind myself that I have classes and get really excited. I shower, get dressed, eat breakfast and then brush my teeth and by then I’m still really pumped to go to my class 🙂

First, I never plan to go out before 10am, so I can know that I don’t have time pressure in the morning. Second, when I really have something important early in the morning it is easy to get up because of the previous regular routine of enough sleeping time, so there is not accumulated exhaustion that can make me hard in the morning. Third I know that my morning starts at the previous evening, so I go earlier to sleep. And fourth thing is that in the morning I’m thinking how disciplined person I am and I feel proud of myself for getting up on the first alarm.

I work from home, so travel time is not an issue. I give myself little more than the amount of time needed to get ready, make coffee, and grab my already-prepped breakfast and take it to my desk. This gives me about five minutes to spare – no time to hit snooze. I also switched my hours so that I work the earliest shift available (6am – 3pm my time). Switching up my routine made it easier to set a new habit of not snoozing.

Coffee! I have also altered bedtime earlier to get going earlier…..Between those 2 things usually good and if still feeling bad I increase exercise to help me sleep deeper

I have never really struggled with using a snooze button as my alarm clock growing up didn’t have one. I was taught to have a moment of private devotion, to stretch and get up.

I prepare the night before by 1 hour before bed I air my bedroom , change the ambience, lower the lights, unplug and disconnect . I have a alarm clock. in a separate room in case for no distractions I have my cell charging. I get up before the alarm ready and feeling great for my day ahead

I think about how it would make difference if I didn’t press snooze and compare how I feel and how ready I am when I have enough time before leaving my house

I keep an alarm near me at 5 am and a loud alarm far away from me in the centre of the room at 5.02 am. If I didn’t wake up at the first alarm, the second alarm would get me a terrible scold from my mom. So I always wake up at the first alarm and literally sprint to off the second alarm

I think about how I know that if I don’t get up straight away I will regret loosing the time I could have used to get ready, and end up tense and in a rush.

Consistency is the key I believe. Daily and slowly push yourself to achieve small goals. Eventually down the line you can see the growth. And your future yourself will thank you for not giving up on you.

I got a light therapy alarm. I set my alarm for two hours earlier than I need to be anywhere because I know myself and I struggle in the morning. The light therapy shines light to imitate sunrise and it’s super effective for waking me up.

I stand up quicker from bed because I need to go to toilet and drink some water to feel energetic. I read a bit from my book and that gives me new thoughts about that story that I was cut about 💖

I make sure to set my alarm early, and to set a second “real” one. It sounds counterproductive, but setting an alarm 15-20 minutes early allows me to wake up gently so I don’t have to rush. I also make sure to go to bed at the same time every night, and to get 8-10 hours of sleep.

Ensure that I nourish myself with great food during the day and enjoy it with intention – no distractions
Also ensuring to do my meditation, breath work and some exercise.
In a nutshell, as I flow within my day internationally I’m elated to rise the next day and do it again especially after giving myself adequate rest! Cheers to a restful night and the new day I rise to see and delight myself with and in!

I think about how stressful it will be if I press snooze. I might gain 8 extra minutes sleep but I will end up loosing that energy with the rush of being late so I might as well have just got up on time.
